When is the best time to book?

I typically book 3 months in advance, so try to book 3 months before your desired session date. Check my banner at the top or Facebook/Instagram for current open booking months and updated availability

When is the best time to book a newborn session?

The sooner the better! Some clients book as soon as they find out they are expecting and some wait until the beginning of their second trimester. Same goes for Maternity as I like to photograph when you are around 30 weeks

How do I pick a date for a newborn session?

Once your retainer fee and contract is signed, I put down your due date as a tentative session date. Once baby arrives you let me know within 48 hours of his/her arrival and we then choose a date (studio/in-home sessions typically take place Friday late morning or early afternoon)

When do sessions take place?

All outdoor sessions take place about an hour before sunset or around sunrise Monday-Thursday. All studio or in-home sessions take place on Friday mornings or Friday early afternoons.

What is the preferred age for a newborn session?

Typically I like to photograph newborns within that 5-14 day period. Lifestyle sessions can be pushed out a little later

What is a Hello World Session?

A Hello World session is a fresh 48 session that takes place in the hospital or place of birth 24-48 hrs after baby's arrival.

What do I wear for my session?

I provide a style guide to all my clients and help with wardrobe options. I also offer a client closet for women and newborn/children and a professional styling code to style and select. I absolutely love helping clients pick outfits that will photograph well while staying true to who they are. I also provide a client closet for moms and children and have a variety of wraps and headbands/bonnets for newborns.
